    Cram a 500 out of a caddy in my 85 blazer? and what would it take? just toying with the idea. it's a free motor.

    I think you should. You will get to weld in the motor mounts and we also had the tranny that came with the motor converted to a 4x4 tranny. There might be better ways but I am not sure. Gobs and Gobs of tork. I am considering this myself instead of a 454.
