Saw a '90 the other day, had the third seat that flipped and folded like my 79 Blazer..............do the earlier Burbs third seats flip or are they stationary? Anyone know when the flip and fold style started? TIA /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I believe in the early to mid 80's.

We have a 77 sub. It had a NON-folding back seat. I had a 84 - it had a folding back seat. BTW I made some brackets that bolt to the floor in the 77 suburban to allow a folding seat to slide in and lock down. They work very well and its easier to get the seat in and out than with the original mounts that recessed into the floor.
