and the reason he thinks that he is selling it for so much.. is that it is completely stock and has no aftermarket parts on it. he says the engine is a v8 when that year came with a v6. even if the blazer came with the v8 package it comes with 170 hp. not 270. /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif

It has aftermarket AC under the dash, from what I have read that was a dealer installed option but I sure other places installed them too. Mine had one when I got it and I trashed mine out for the added leg room /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
I would give him around 2500-3K IF I was looking /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

The orange one in the background looks in a lot better shape, maybe pick that one up for around $30,000.- $40,000. /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Yup. Full Size Blazers NEVER came with a V6.
I believe 275 hp is the correct HP rating for a 1970 350 in K series trucks.
Never heard of a 170 Hp 350 in a first gen Blazer. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I think 7k(reserve not met) is a little high for a 1st gen with rust.
I think that hole in the rocker is a little more than "minor surface rust" /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
But I have seen extremely clean totally restored 1st gens ones go for 10K

100% stock... except for the steering wheel and wheels (mid 80's ralley's) /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Rust Free... except for the rusty rockers, quarter panels, undercarraige... /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Maybe worth $2000-3000 if it runs and drives good to me.

you ever seen one? My 84 was COMPLETELY barebones, had a 305.

    whats a 3 piece driveshaft??

rockcrushing np205 /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif I know they are hefty its just funny to hear that, wouldn't this be a 203 though?

oh its all original, except the steering wheel, rims, oh yeah and that whole swapped the front axle and braking system for another one...

Umm, you thinking of the S-Blazers? I just dug through 1983-1991 full-size trucks, and I see no 4.3.

It looks like its got a York compressor mounted on the passenger side of the engine, I don't think anyone but Ford and Volvo used those stock. I might be wrong though, I usually am.

    Hees also an [darn] too.

HE SOOOOO DID NOT JUST SAY THIS...

Gee, thats great! Wow, a lift too! I am sure you are very proud of your everyday, run of the mill, "everybody got one" blazer with a chain drive transfer case, plastic interior and a whopping 190 horse power smog sniffing girls car! I am so impressed! Mabey we can be friends, thenI can come over and bring a hack saw so we can cut off the rest of your top to make it a full convertable and not just a 1/2 top street cruiser. I could put your tires on my Blazer and not need a lift. I can pretend we are going 4 wheeling together and when you get stuck, I can leave your dumb red neck ass in the mud where your brain is!

    /forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif

It wasant really my place to tell him his pricing is out of wack, but he shouldent have. /forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif

That guy is a Jerk. If you think His price is way too high for that Blazer. Check out his other Auction
    Crazy Ebay Nuts other auction
Hey your Email and his response in on Ebay
Hee hee they show all the questions from buyers and that jerks responces on his E-bay add. Now dont anyone get any ideas /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

BTW Freak. I wasn't getting down on you about the engine info just trying to educate people /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Many folks dont know that HP ratings were measured different before 1974. Pre 74 they used Flywheel Hp to rate the engines horse power/torque out put. After 1974 the Feds made auto makers rate their engines HP on the output to the rear end. That dropped the HP numbers a lot. Thats why eariler engines seemed to make more power than later engines.
So.Acually if you take that 270 hp 350 and drop the +- 60 hp that the drive train eats up. you end up with around 210- hp. About the same as you are running in your newer truck /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
