I simply would not ever drive the Burb if the a/c didn't work. Nothing like 95 and 80% humidity to ruin a nice drive.

25 mile drive from my work to my house, and after 3pm, the traffic is basically crawling, AC doesn't work in my truck YET, so i have adopted the idea before i leave work, to make a stop to the restroom, remove the shirt, get it wet, and head out to tackle the freeway traffic.

30-40 minutes later when i pull up in front of my house, the shirt is dry.:doah:

    but it helps

It was 110 down here the other day. Not sure what it's supposed to be today. I think we are going to spend the day in the movie theater. "Pirates" starts in an hour then maybe slide into "Superman"....after that, who knows?

just saw on the news, it's supposed to be somewhere around 108 here in Phoenix today, so in Tucson, you're usually just a bit cooler most of the time.

    :dunno: 107.5?:dunno: :D

it's suppose to he a 110 here in the valley today and the humidity is supposeto be horrible. I was hoping for a long day of sitting on the computer in the house with the AC cranked. But it's sounding more like my better half is dragging me to the beach---along with the thousands of other people there:doah:

In Tucson weather sucked. Worked on the blazer all day. Sunday, loaded it up and brought home. (finally). Moved a girlfriend, came back home and unloaded the blazer. Now I,m home with Coronas, :D

We finally emerged from the theater around 5:30...did what I said I was going to do...although my butt hurts like a son of a b**** from sitting all day. I guess I missed the majority of the heat, wasn't too bad on the way home. Then the rain showed up around 7 and it's been nice ever since.

Short movie report...for whoever hasn't seen them yet....both Pirates and Superman were pretty good. D*** long though. I tell ya, they are making a bundle off that Pirate movie... a week after it came out and the theater is still packed. We got there 45 minutes before the first showing and it was already sold out...had to wait for the second showing.

That's a 99'!?!? How did you score a $20,000+ tow rig for free?

You could always sell it and buy something respectable.;)
