    Baring catastrophe (and there always is one/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif ) my friends and I should have the Black Bear back on the road by Saturday night. getting the GM goodwrench engine with the normal bolt-on goodies and TH350 w/ a shift kit for $630. i will get some money back on the core.

    Anyone wanna buy a 4 bolt main long block 400 SBC for $250/forums/images/icons/smile.gif

    you're getting the engine and tranny for 630??? or that is just for the tranny? What is the engine running? who did you go through for it?

    tranny $630, no core needed

    engine $1400, GM Goodwrench 260 HP 350. with add-on's (distributor, manifold, headers, no cats, werkz Q-jet) I'll be pushing about 285 at the flywheel.

    arounf 300 ft pounds.

    plenty for what I am doing with it. If i want more I got a buddy with a 50-150hp blue bottle/forums/images/icons/cool.gif

    it needs a rebuild. this isn't a plug and play motor

    it runs, ran all the way home from Hollister after my trans line and cab caught fire. it runs really good w/o guages/forums/images/icons/crazy.gif
