This is kind of a weird dana 44

I'm no expert, but that looks like a dana 60 to me. The studs and only one U-bolt on the passenger side is what makes me believe it is. Someone better snatch this one up!

Cant really tell from the pics other than the perch studs. But if it came out of a newer Dodge 3/4 ton, then it is a balljoint D60...

But one thing has me puzzled. They were disconnect axles since thee were no lockouts. BUt this axle doesn't have the disconnect housing.

Did the pre-94 Dodges have no hubs and no disconnect,, and a balljoint 60????

It's a D44. I don't know why, but Dodge made some of their trucks with 44's having 2 studs on the passenger side leaf pad like a D60. That's why it doesnt have the center disco.

Dodge D44. Dodge uses studs in the pumpkins side on D44 and D60 just the same. It looks like a full time unit so not worth a whole lot since you will need x-over to shove it in a GM.

Dodges have a narrower spring pad width than Chevy, so they had to use the studs there. It is a 44.
