I don't believe this!!! I get to work at 6:45am this monring and am ready to leave at about 4:15pm looking forward to a good weekend and I got out to where I always park my blazer and guess what isnt there! The only thing in the parking space is a large pile of glass!! Threre were some electricians on-site today working on the lights for the parking lot and they got there by 9:00am and they said that they saw the glass but no truck!! Between 6:45am and 9:00am someone had stolen my Blazer!!! The police wouldnt even come out to take a report. They said that since there were no witnesses I'd have to call it in. We've got security guards on the property and at least 7 cameras covering the grounds and not a one shows my truck except for me driving it in and someone else driving it out! I had the suspension lift still in the back along with some tools, hopefully insurance will cover that stuff and the stereo (i do have receipts). This sucks!!!! Thankfully I carry full coverage insurance. DAMN I'm pissed!

If anyone in the KC area happens to see a stock black 87 K5 with MO tag 465 NEJ stop them and beat them sensless please!

Sorry for the rant but I had to vent!

    That REALLY sucks!!!
Do you have any pics you can post so maybe someone in your area might be able to spot it?
Maybe if you're lucky (and the theif is stupid enough) he will post messages here on his "new" Blazer that needs needs fixing (we can always hope)

I feel your pain - had a totally customized SS Monte Carlo stolen. This was from a pay lot even. Asked the attendant if he saw anything - all of a sudden he couldn't speak english....It is a bad feeling!
I can help (when you are ready) with suggestions on dealing with the insurance company.
My settlement turned into my Blazer.

File a claim, the personal property will not be covered unless you have a home, condo or renters policy and it will be subject to the deductable. Just say you had all snap on tools in it and get paid

Damn that sucks. I doubt insurance will cover that stuff...they say that if you turned your car over, they cover what doesn't fall out...basically anything inside is your loss...hopefully I'm wrong though

<font color=purple> I may be mistaken, but aren't the items in your vehicle covered under your home owners insurance ? I swear I just read that earlier in the week ?

I'm real sorry to hear that Scooter! What is it with the lack of respect for other peoples property now-a-days? If it ain't your's leave it the f*#k alone! [IMG]

I really hope you get it back! I had a pick-up stolen about 10 years ago, it took almost a month but they found it abondoned about a hundred miles away in a parking garage...

My insurance company claims over 90% are found within 30 days. In my case that was true and I hope it is for you too!

I feel your pain Brother.... you may have read my post last monday about my '89 being stolen in LA. I got the same story from the cops. I am in the process now of creating my list for the insurance agent. They are gonna [censored] when they see how much gear i had in it.
I will keep an eye out for your K5 here, and if i see it, im just gonna shoot'em with the gun and bullets i have set aside for the bastards that took mine. Then i'll mail their sorry asses back to you along with your truck. Good luck

take my advice i speak from experience. all ther tools were snap on and there were alot of them. lots of power tools too. ins. companies will do whatever then can to screw you. honesty is the worst policy when dealing with them.

friends romans countrymen, lend me some parts

Man that sucks. I hope things work out for you. Don't get out of the K5 scene. Theft seems to be a problem lately. Maybe someone out there could post a good pictoral on a ignition or fuel cut off. It could save everybody this same kind of pain.
