Has anyone replace a manual crank on the rear window? I have the new one but from what I can tell the only way to change it is from the inside taking eveything apart. Is there an easier way?

If the whole handle is broken off then you will have to get at it from the inside.

or replace the whole gate /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

    hey quite scaring him guys
    its really quite simple
    just remove the access panel
then remove the 8 7/16 bolts that hold the window and track bars and the actuater then
voila youll se the the nuts for the studs that hold the winder on
there is a easyer way but its to long to type and hard to explaine without pictures
    best of luck to ya

thanks I took it off the other day I just have not gotten around to finishing it. I figure finishing the rebuild on the front axle is more important.
    Thanks for the help
