Okay, I've been running my Blazer without a top for a few months. Running it without the hard top just makes me realize how much the whole body vibrates because of the lack of rigidity. Recently I noticed a loud rattle coming from inside the right passenger side pillar (where the 'integrated' bar is supposed to be).

Anyway, it keeps getting worse. It sounds like something is working itself loose and rattling against the metal. Have any of you had this problems, or do any of you know what is in there--especially you guys that have cut through them to make a full convertible?

    ANYONE?!!!![IMG]

To tell you the truth I haven't even checked them (although I did think about that today) but I certainly will tomorrow. Have you ever had this problem?

I've never had a rattle but right now I have my Blazer all torn apart redoing it and I noticed one caged nut is completely gone. I think those things are another flaw because they always seem to fall out or jump the cage.

Well, I have my interior completely gutted and I tried to look in there yesterday but couldn't see anything that it could be. I will definitely check out those nuts tomorrow because come to think of it, I think a couple may have come off.
