I am thinking of building a jeep.It is a '56 willy's.I can trade a 350 for it.I am thinking of putting a 44up front and 12 bolt in the rear and either a SB chevy or small v6.of course a 420 or 465.I just want something a little skinnier than my blazer.I dent it up too much.I don't know let me know what you guts think.Brady

There may be some advantages to a jeep. However, I can't come up with enough cash to do what I want with my K5, let alone a second off roader.

Mud is just thick water, or is it that water is just thin mud?

Don't get me wrong guys I love all chevy trucks and cars.My '73 blazers is only used for offroad.Hardcore trails are my gig the bigger the rock the better.Just the body is a little ragged. The jeep will be all chevy except body and mostly made of tubeing. Not too sure of the short wheelbase though.May just built it then sell.Definetly keep the Blazer.Brady

Sound cool to me, but I would go with a semi-floating 14 bolt. They come in 5,6, or 8 lug so you can get one to match your Dana44 no mater what it came off. Good luck,Jim
