So, I am pretty sure I need to go to a full length header to get what I am looking for out of my new engine... but the question is... which one?

    The Thorley Tri-Y
    The Patriot Tri-5
    or
    The Heddman Tork-Step.

I have heard good things about the Thorley's but have never heard anything about the others...

    Anyone run them? opinions? Thoughts?

    Thanks for the input!

What kind of price are you talking about? I have no idea what those three run for retail. I am probably going to get FlowTech afterburners when I do my dual exhaust. They are cheap like $140.00 at Summit. I don't know anything about the Doug Thorley brand but flowtech in a Holley brand. Hey if the Thorleys are as awesome as everyone says then I might change my mind and drop a few more bucks on the exhaust system. Well I hope this wasn't jacking your topic. Keep us posted on what you decide and how it was to install and how they perform. I would love to hear your experience with them.
    Thanks,

    /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif no worries about hijacking.

I am leaning toward the thorley's now... though I am real curious about the patriot's, they are a similar design but cost less.

I see a lot of trucks come through the shop and the dominating force is definately the Thorley Tri-Y. They always look new, tend to fit very well and they don't seem to leak. Every owner has the exact same opinion of them which is they seemed a bit pricey but after putting them on never regretted the choice (or overall power hey provide). In fact, I've never heard anything bad about a Thorley Tri-Y... which is why I'm going to foot the bill myself.
