I put one on my 88, but then I started my body/floor rebuild, so I haven't had the chance to check it out yet.

I got one. I put it on when I converted to TBI so I don't know if there is a diff. or not. All I can tell you is it sure runs nice!

i put one in my 87 tbi. I noticed a power increase but no mpg increase. If you do one make sure the inside is threaded for a vortec style spin on the air and gas mix. I went with an arid from 4wheel parts and it was easy to install. It also gives it a slight whisle at certain rpm
