Time for fender trimming

    Well it's time to trim some sheetmetal. I know a few guy's here have done it ( and had it turn out good) Does any one have some pics? also what did you use to do the cutting. Thanks /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

    Try a search on "Fender Trim" I used a cut off wheel,and a sawzall. Take your time.

    Yep use a sawsall and a cutoff wheel.. Mine didn't come out that good cuse I didn't take my time... Just take your time and it'll come out good..Dan

    Also watch out for the e brake cable or you will cut it...mike

    Yeah what everybody else is saying, you can always cut more, but it's a damn site harder to put it back! My neighbor and I spent 2 days monkeying with my fenders!

    Let me know if you want to do it (if you haven't already done it) on Monday or Tuesday night. I'll bring over the other sawzall and we can hack away. Wednesday night I have to get ready for the rally on Thursday and wheelin' next weekend (Laura says she wants to try driving the trail). Give me a call.

    Click on my sig. and There are a few pics. Like everyone else is sayen...Cut little by little. And look out for the E-Break Cable under the Drivers side floor board. Its a Doosy...
