    So how would all of you feel if the H2 was made in a 2dr model with a removeble top and Chevrolet trim and called a Blazer with nothing else changed?

    I think it would still be overly "urbanized". In other words it dosnt look like a real truck.

    Sorry but the only thing "new" I would buy that is a REAL truck is a Ford Super Duty.
    Solid axle leaf springs = truck.
    IFS = car.

    A close second choice would be a Ram. Even though they have coil boingers, they atleast still have a solid axle.

    The only problem I have with the Super Dutys is the fact that the only decent engine they offer is the Power Stroke. What about for people who want a decent gas engine? Who the **** wants some POS OHC moduler motor. Oh and the V10 is a frickin joke, no way can it hold up to a 8.1 Vortec.

    I have to agree to a point. The V10 is a joke IMO too, but the 5.4 is a screamer. But it wont hold to the 8.1 L.

    I am talking more all around. A nice big inch motor (oops Im sorry, big liter nowadays) would make it far better.

    ALL GM has to do is stab a SFA under the new trucks and Id be there. I am not REAL brand specific, but I do prefer GMs.

    I would want one. Of course it would probably get a SAS after the warranty is over.

    It feels good down the freeway, nice passing power, but the 5.3 feels way-better down-low. I'd rather have my cam in the block, nice and safe. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

    Why not get GM to build a real Blazer again. I'd love to be able to go to the Chevy dealership and order a new Blazer K5 with 1 Ton axles (Dana 60 front / 14 Bolt FF, sm465/NP-205 and a fuel injectioned 502 big block !!!!!! Be kewl to get with disc breaks all the way around. Factory options like lifts, Larger tires, your choice of motors (502, 454, 350 and a 383-HT.) Factory soft-top, ...ect. Now that's a idea. Think how Kewl it'd be if GM would come out with the K5 again and take the wants of people from this site to design the improvements.

    No war, becouse it'd all be about options you could order. If you want 10 Bolts, you could have them, but the 1 Ton axles could also be ordered if you wanted them. See where I'm coming from. You could order it with a 250 inline 6, or pleanty of choices for V-8 motors, ... ect.

    I dont think I would like it. THe fact that it has OFS front is the main reason I wouldn't want it. I do like the use of the coils in the rear via a Tahoe/Yukon rear frame section though.... The newer trucks do ride nice, but they need ot go back to the straight axle fronts like Ford and Dodge(3/4 and 1 tons now).... Then I would liek the configuration you are talking of. Oh and also an 8.1L option!
