Well I have been getting around 7 calls a day on my k5. I know its not going to be much longer before shes gone. Kinda makes me sad but I know I'll build another one in the future but for right now my number one priority is finishing my bachelors degree, and my truck seems to distract me. Just wondering how long is an acceptable grieving period after you sell your first love??

Never have grieved over a vehicle. I gave up a college education for fast cars, wild women, and partying. But I have always been one of those guys who could keep my priorities straight.

At least you were able to see it is distracing you. I am one of those addicted personality peoples and Am totally hooked into it. As for getting ride of it. I cant ever do that. I have to keep it even if it was in pieces. It is a Family truck that was handed over to me. I will probably build something else but for now this is it. Next week it will be a 68 Galaxie.

I am picking up a pretty clean Galaxie tomorrow(being passed down from my older Brother) great story. but I will not rob yo thread.

Get the education. It is something I regret not finishing.

Well...I will build a new one soon, like a yearish. The thing that killed me is not towing it places. My tow rig should be done in about 3 months, then I plan on selling both my cars to pay for the new toy
