    2 questions:

    1. would 31" tires fit on my '72 without a lift? My current tires measure about 28" and are mounted on 8x15" white spokes. (or would I be better off stopping at 30's?)

    2. Would a 1" lift (rear only) be do-able without any other mod's?
Look forward to hearing from you!
    Thanks.

I agree, yes to both. I have 4" springs front and rear but I wasn't happy with the way it sat, so I added 1" blocks in the rear- looks much better. no modifications necessary with a 1" lift.

You should be able to go up to 32" tires without a problem...

I have even gone to 33" tires on my 72 w/out a lift.
