i was wondering, what is the biggest tire i can run on stock gm alloy wheels? I'm not even sure what size the wheels are. I think they are something like 15X8.

    I had 15x8 rallys and I was running 33x12.5's .
Some here are running wider tires on the same wheel.
I now have 15x10" wheels and I think they look alot better than they did on 8" wheels.

You can safely run a 12.5 inch wide tire on your rims. Most wheelers prefer this arrangement. As far as height goes - you are only limited to how much rubber you can stuff under your fenders.
