The county is having a "tire clean-up day" where people can bring their tires and get rid of them for free. They take them with or without the wheels and will take up to 1,000 tires from an individual. I loaded up a couple hundred on my 16' trailer and have enough for another load also. The sides of the trailer are 44" tall.

And why do you have several hundred tires laying around?

    I thought I was bad with 5.

Collecting tires is a fetish that I'm trying to overcome.

No, actually most of them are from vehicles that I've scrapped.

I thought I was doing bad on tires. Started cleaning up the yard, moving all the tires into "neat" stacks... Only had 3 pickup beds full (longbed, with a rack, stacked 2-3 tires higher than the cab). Costs $5+ per tire here. They bale 'em, put 'em in a shipping container, and send 'em back to the mainland.

Thanks. They've got new tires too! My Mom and Dad just bought a new camper and they were on it, so I took them off to put on my trailer. Their camper gets set-up at the lake and never moves... so no reason in letting these good tires rot away.

It's in Virginia Beach. Here is another pic... there is a row to the far right, a couple in the middle, and another group in the back.
