    hey guys,
    I need a sm465 transmision( it's a manual 4 speed chevy tranny).
    i got a toyota truck that i'm swapping a 350 chevy in it, i bought a np205 transfer case and i need a good transmition, i heard sm465 is a best that i can go with.
    any idea would be great.

    If you want a super strong, super cheap tranny, get a 465...if you wan and auto go with a th400...hit up you local junk yards and e-bay. 465's were used from the late 60's to the late 80's.very common trany...

    and yeah the 465 is a beefy tranny and like fortcollinsram said the th400 is the beefiest auto.
