Maybe 1k miles a year or so. I mean it is a nice k5 but it does alot of sitting and there is a good chunk of money and time in it as well. It definitely ain't making me any coin in the garage. So....?

If you're not in a hurry to sell, because you'll probably have to be patient to sell it for what it's worth.

My other question is, aside from insurance and registration, is it really costing you anything to keep it? I'm sure you already have the low mileage insurance coverage, like the General is only covered for <3000miles/year.

If you're desparate to be rid of it. I'll give you $1,000 cash tomorrow. :deal:

    :haha:

In all seriousness, what would you even try and get for it? I can't even imagine the kind of time & money you've got in it, I know how much I've got in mine and it looks like poop compared to that baby:bow:

Oh and I'll give you $1,001. Sorry Scott:p:

Toby, I hate to see you sell it, it's an EXTREMELY clean and well built rig.
But, if you do, here is another very well built rig that sold recently, at a seemingly high asking price.http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=197397
I had the pleasure of looking this rig over from one end to the other, and there isn't a scab on it anywhere, just like yours. I have no doubt the truck couldn't be rebuilt for that amount of $, not counting labor. If you do sell it, stick it out and get top dollar. If I didn't have four projects going right now, I'd take a serious run at it.

I think Toby's dilemma is that he has two very capable rigs. One is really nice and is in show condition (even nicer than the one posted above) and the other is for hard core trails. If he's not driving the show K5 much and the way gas prices are these days then I could see selling it. Not to mention his house doesn't offer much for parking along with the other 5 vehicles and camper trailer. Sometimes you get to the point in your life where you just don't see the value in keeping a vehicle even though its a dream K5 to most people here. He's done everything to it. I would love to see him keep it along with his Jet Ski but I can understand moving on and maybe looking at another toy or just keeping the cash in the bank.

    Pics of his incredible K5:

If you don't drive it much then the only thing it is costing you is some insurance, space, & a some gas money once in awhile. That truck is WAY to nice to sell if it was me. If you have not seen this truck in person you would understand how nice it is. The pics make it look very nice but they can't make you understand just how nice it is. This truck is show quality for sure.

I would encourage you to keep it Toby, but I kinda understand the situation with to many toys & not enough space.

If parking & storage space is the issue then it's simple, buy a new house with a big-a$$ garage. Then you won't have to get rid of anything :D

    P.S. Don't sell, way to freakin nice:bow:
