Word has gotten around town that I am "K5 Blazer Guy" at work.......so a kid come is in and asks for me. He has a 4" raised steering arm on his 87 K5 with no lift and is looking to trade his raised arm for one of my stock arms. I have been needing one for while, so I traded him

About 2 hours later, another buddy of mine stops in and talks to me. He has a D60/14 bolt that he is trying to get rid of. I offer to trade a set of roller lifters for the axles. He agreed and now I have a one ton set up!!!!!

    I love the barter system.

Now I need to find an adapter to go from 8 lug to 6 lug. Is there such a thing? I just spent a small fortune on wheels and tires and can not afford to buy new wheels/tires.

Good deal! If you find anymore deals like that, I'm sure John out there could use a set. As for the adaptors, I know this is backwards but you might check with the guys at the bottom of this page http://coloradok5.com/8lugconversion.shtml

    hope it helps.

Sell the 6 lug stuff and buy new wheels to fit your tires, or trade some more stuff cause if your wheels are aluminum they won't fit over the brakes on the 1- ton stuff anyway even with adaptors....at least if they are 15's they won't not sure about 16's. By the time you buy the adaptor stuff you will prolly have spent more than ne wheels cost.:xmas:

maaang... I saw you are selling your Tahoe... I was gonna ask about it, but I got told I couldn't use my loan from the bank to buy from a private party :( So now I have a Jeep and I have to lift it my own self... sheesh...
