my truck died 6 blocks from my house and I had to leave it in a jiffy lube parking lot. then this happened at work today. The rest of the ground was frozen with a muddy surface and there was this one damn 4ft deep soft damn hole!

Been there, done that, only worse and in a John Deere 410 4x4 hoe to boot. Had it not been for the backhoe's ability to dig itself out, they would have had to airlift the machine out of the hole......:doah:

damn, those things suck in alot of mud. I operated one down in texas and we got it stuck. Luckily our bulldozer pulled it out.

Did you get your rig working? If you need any help let me know.

We got a D6 CAT stuck pretty good yesterday. Had to dig it out with the backhoe... If I remember, and can figure out how, I will post a pic after work...

We are a material supplier for landscapers, so we were at this location screening and hauling out a few piles of dirt. We really only use front end loaders and at our pits the only thing we would have is some 544H loaders.

Last winter we were doing the same thing, hauling dirt off someones property and the ground thawed and it turned to a mud bog. I had alot of fun with my pickup and with the loader, it got deep but i never got stuck, although I was always pulling the dumptrucks out.

Doug... haha yeah the truck was running. It was water in the fuel, now I think its the carb. I think its flooding it with gas and I think it fouled out my day old plugs. Had to pull it home last night with the burb.

Maybe this will work? It is in the dump of a local golf course that we are working at right now... There is a 15-20' deep hole in front of it, and piles all around it. the only way out is sideways toward where I took the picture, and it just wasn't moving!
