    Been a while since I went there. My parents used to own property just south of Susanville and we would go there when I was a kid......

    It was in the high 40s/low 50s all day. Wind was blowing 50ish mph on the summit, couple 70ish gust, but other than that the weather was great.

    lol! reminds me of so many peeps I met in the Marines. They would look at a hill which had a "peak" for 400' above sea level with awe... calling it a "huge mountain". I'd just roll my eyes and say "dude, if it isn't over 10,000 ft and have snow on the top year round, it ain't a mountain." I know Washington isn't the home of Everest or anything, but Rainier is over 14,000 ft. :thumb:

    I had a buddies friend over once and we ask him what tree line was and
    he said "it's when the snow is so deep that it covers the trees",
    that's why they look so small. :doah: :haha: :haha:
    Yes, nice shots but after 23 years, it looks just like my area or close.
