I met Billy Gibbons when I was 18 ($hit, 19 years ago. how depressing). I saw him jump on an elevator at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, TN so I followed him on. I asked if he was in ZZ Top and he said (and I'll never forget this...),"My name is Billy Gibbons and what might your name be sir?" and he thrust his hand out to shake mine. Pretty cool, huh? Don't think I'll forget that.

Badlands 2 1/2 albums are amazing.. I was listening to the first CD when he posted and took a peek on youtube, cool clip...

If you like them, you should check out Trouble, the Manic Frustration CD in particular, amazing guitar work...

Oh yeah, I've been a trouble fan since '85.. the weekend I graduated high school that year, they were touring in support of their "skull" album, and I went to see them. ( closest I got to a graduation party, lol) I also like "assassin", from their their 1st album.. can't think of the title, but there was a tree on the cover..
