how many oz. are in a keg of beer? please help me and my buddies settle this argument. we can't math-matically do it because our only tool is keg cups. and we figure about 120-140 cups per keg.

I'll give you a hint....there is 25,810 calories in a keg of beer.

If you have a 15 gallon keg its 2400 oz.
If you have a 13.2 gallon keg its 2112 oz.
A pony keg (6 gallons) is 960 oz.

now to our main debate, some friends want to make a 5 gallon/ 4 man beer bong, how much of a keg would each round use? we're not the smartest in math so help us out guys. plus, our 3 beer, beer-bong fills the tummy up of me and the other best bonger in the group, let alone that everyone else who has tried it has failed. back on subject, we don't think any body can bong over a gallon of beer.

The answer is 1/3 of the keg on each 5gallon/4 man bong.

I needed to know how many kegs I needed at a party once, so the week before the party me and 3 other friends put it to the test. We drank 141 cups between us that nite.....and one hell-of-a -puke'n-rally.....oh it was sweet. Barely made the following weeks party. :D

I think there are 144 16oz. beers in your standard sized keg.

If you use a calculator there is 150cups, but actual testing in a household environment proves to be 141 cups. Then again this was a one time test and results may vary depending on testing conditions.

We used to have a 2 story 3-valve burrrr bong, not sure how many 12oz. cans it held, but it was called "The Inebriator" for a reason.
