Has anybody had their mastercylinder build up too much pressure and seep out fluid past the steel cap & rubber gasket? if so how did you cure it? I have already replaced the gasket and adjusted the spring clip for more tension on the cap, I am about to replace the the steel cap and the spring clip.
    Thanx,
    Bill

seeing you have a 76, i am guessing you have a the older steel resivoir. check to see how rusted the seal area is, it could be so rough the rubber gasket cannot seal. also try to lower the level in your resivoir and see if that solves the problem.
