i had some electrical problems some time back and harry said spend the money and get a real shop manual.
i now am having a problem with the steering and decided to get the real book. called a buddy at the dealership and he gave me his source to order straight and leave out the dealer. final cost, right at $100 bucks, hope it is worth it

If it saves you just one trip to the shop, then it's paid for itself. The shop manuals for my '94 Suburban were $160! [IMG] But there just sin't anywhere else to make sure you're looking at the info for just your year and model of truck. The other manuals that try to include 10 years of models into one book can often send you on a wild goose chase. [IMG]

What was his source? I am looking for the best manual for my 78 K5. What are your opinions on where to get the best manuals.
