It's been in storage for 2 years now. I haven't even looked at it once. I didn't even diconnect the battery thinking I'd take it out every few weeks. Would you believe it started after a few cranks. Some minor electrical work, change the oil and it was off to a car show. I got 5th in my class!

Granted there were only 5 cars in my class :(

69 Dodge Charger, 383, 727 auto, 8 3/4 rear end with open 3.23 gears. A/C, power steering, power front disc brakes, magnum 500 wheels, black interior with bucket seats. The color is some BMW yellow / green. The guy before me put the stripe on, it's from a 68 R/T .... not sure why he did that, it's not an R/T and it isn't a 68!

    Thanks,

    Eric M.

The difference between CA and MA...

Thats the beauty of CA--to be able to park something for 2 years and it will not only start up,it wont have rot holes in it,mice living in the air cleaner and other nooks and crannies, water in the gas tank(which will likely leak on the first trip!)and the brake lines and exhaust system wont be rusted to death!..I have had my van parked since dec.03,and only started it twice--had to put a freshly charged battery in it both times, and now everything is rusted, holes are showing, bondo is popping off like crazy--bet the brake lines pop on the first hard application of the pedal too..,and the gas tank will probably be junk since its been nearly empty all that time... :frown1:

I'll probably end up selling it cheap or scrapping it if the price goes up again...sucks,because I did a lot of recent work to it including a motor swap in 2001....I wish I lived in a climate that doesn't "eat" cars and trucks...even parking in my garage, they STILL rust!..

Thats a nice car!..it would take 1st place here, because there are only probably 2 or 3 like it around here--and they all look like "General Lee"... :surepal: ...
