I'm still getting the loud screech from the torque converter. When I first put it in, it did it as soon as I started the truck. I put in shorter bolts and the only problem I have now is that in reverse the converter still does it. Starts out loud and gets quieter, but it never goes away till I take it outta reverse. So, does anyone have any ideas of what this might be? Thanks

I don't know, but when mine did that (after a rebuild and a "new" converter), the converter internally blew and sent metal throughout the tranny. One good thing, is the converter manufacturer sent me a new tranny and converter, as mine was impregnated with miniscule pieces of steel.
