I'm going to weld the spider gears in my 14 bolt tonight at work. I can't find torque specs in my manual for the ring gear bolts or the bearing cap bolts. Does anyone know what the correct specs are for these?

So ya making a Lincoln Locker out of the 14 bolt???
    Hope this helps.

What was involved in putting a 14 bolt in your rig?? Looking at replacing the 12-bolt, axle loosing, limited slip, 3.07 geared, narrower than the front, in mine.

It just bolted right in, my 14 was out of a 3/4 ton. I got the T-case and tranny, front-end and driveshafts all from the same guy. If your just swapping in the 14 you might have to change your driveshaft. I'm pretty sure the 14 bolt uses larger u-joints and the overall length from the T-case to the pinion may be a little different, although I'm not sure if you'd need to shorten your shaft or not.
I was fortunate to find a complete drivetrain that had already been swapped into a Blazer once so for me it was a no-brainer.
By the way the 14 bolt FF is still narrower than the front.
