This is another one of those cases where you need the right tool. It allows you to take all the stress off of the torsion bar so that it can be removed. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif I'm surprised that the instructions for the lift kit don't show it and explain it. /forums/images/icons/mad.gif Maybe you can rent one from a parts store. Just tell them that you need to remove a torsion bar and need the right tool.

Are you asking how to slide the torsion bar out of the control arm? If so, just bang the holy-hell out of it. It may take a sledge hammer and some determination, but it will eventually come out. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif A heating torch or lubricant may help. Good luck.

Are you going to replace the torsion bars or reuse them? If you are going to reuse them don't scratch up the small diameter surface of the bar. Also make sure they go back in exactly the same way they came out.
