I have done a couple of searches and am still wondering:

What lubricant does a NP 205 need? Gear lube?

    I know a 208 needs a lighter fluid like 10W-40 or ATF.

    Thanks for the help.

    Hey Man,

Just so you know, I think I asked the exact same question a month ago. I can't know what I don't know.

AFAIK, ATF in an NP205 is a big no-no. It's nowhere thick enough.

I'd only use gear oil, 80/90.
