    Ok im building a tow bar im going to use 2 inch tub and 2 inch ball heres te Question about how long should i make it?? maybe Rene could toss some messuremetns from his my wayt [​IMG] or any one ??

    The 2nd picture shows the 33" rear tire on my truck, 38" on the towed truck. Maybe you can measure the tow-bar in the picture to that scale.

    Petersen's says, "the longer the towbar the better", but I'd just base it on one of the hundreds manufactured by trailering companies. Call 'em and ask. -Beck.

    Mine is 50 inches from th ball center to bumper works well. I also use the 2 5/8 ball rated at 10k pull over kill yea but its cheap pver kill

    i was going ot go 3 feet and 4 inches to the winch bumber then the winch bumber is another 10 inches
