Does anybody have a picture of or know how the fatory tow hooks are mounted? Or is the front part of the frame different for 4WD models??? I want to install at least one on our 2001 4-door Blazer 2WD just incase it gets stuck.

On my 84 4x4 each one was bolted on to the bottom of the frame rail with two bolts and the hooks curved down and then towards the back of the truck. similar in concept to the aftermarke generic ones but the stock ones were made out of round bar steel about the diameter of your thumb. They worked nice the few times I used them
