I am going to put a th400 in my burb so I dont have to worry about that. So now its the motor. It has a TBI 350 in it with only 59,000 miles on it. I have a set of ported heads, biger valves etc, 454 TBI, different intake etc. Any ways I was wondering what I should do for a motoer. My options are keep the 350, supercharge the 350, build a 383, supercharge a 383, get a 454, or get a 502. What do you guys think? Any help is aprieciated

How well did the TBI 350 work towing before the tranny went? Personally I say 383 or 454. 502 will waste to much gas. A built 383 TBI would be the way I would go. But a mild 454 TBI would be cool too.

My Chevy isn't broken, its just out of gas.

Hey Dan, Go with the 502 Ramjet, and let me have the tree fiddy. I could use a spare. Mine's makin' funny noises and it may not last long. If I could afford it the 502 would be my choice. 500 plus horsepower sound like lots of fun to me, especially for a big ol burb.

If you knew the truth, you too would be against marijuana prohibition!

well the 350 did fine, except going up hills, it would kill me. I know part of i was because of the 3.42 gears and 35s. So now it has 33s, and is getting 4.10s. If I could afford the 502 ram jet it would be in there and I wouldnt ask any questions :)

I think the 383 would be just enough to get you over those hills that the 350 bogged on. If you got the 502, you could pull someone else too!
