I need to tow my K5 to the shop to replace a head gasket. question is, since it's a manual trans would it be good enough to just out it in neutral or should I drop the rear driveshaft? I'll be using a tow dolly and the trip is about 5 miles.

    thanks in advance

You dont have to drop the drive shaft, just put the transfer case in nutral (if you have one). If you dont, or if you have a full time 4wd, I'd drop it, just to be safe.
