    No bondo is the enemy, I welded in a patch piece from a door then cut it to conform to the tail light's lines then used fiberglass to build it up about 6 mils

    cool idea, but chevy rear tail lights without the chrome trim cost 7$.

    id of sold them and bought gm tail lights, but hell i know where your comin from, its cool to do stuff like that to a rig that you own, gives it charactor, and a differnt look. which makes people turn there heads when they see it, i put a roll bar in the bed of my pickup with some high intensity lights on it, and a grillie gard with fog lights, and i straped a small yosimitie sam doll on the front of the truck, and i made my own chevy symbol out of stainless steel, and glued it to the front of the grillie with silicone. so go for it, looks great. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif.
