The livingroom in my apt. has no overhead light, and the lamp just doesn't do it for me. Thinking of buying a track lighting with 3 lights. Anyone have track lighting ??? Opinions ???

I have instaled it in friends houses before. I like the function of it but I do not care for the looks of the fixture

I've always liked the looks of track lighting. But then again, I'm looking at the funtional aspect of it, I guess.

The only thing with track lighting, is they are very "spot/directional" oriented, you don't get a wide, flooding range like a regular lamp would give you.

[IMG] I'm going too mount on wall above my 57" Widescreen TV. Center light will be aimed at the center of room (upwards) and the outter light aimed away from center (upwards). Should work for my needs.
