traded my jeep for a jimmy what next?

    two months i traded my rock ready jeep for a lifted 83 jimmy
    6"lift,4"body,38"tires. i wanted to take it to moab this easter
    i removed the body lift, traded the 38's for 33's added 4.56,
    arb,lockrite, (by the way thats where i learned of this site)
    so whats left to do keep up?

    Well, the first thing to do is not to mention the jeep thingy. That is sort of like having sex with hairy lip big Bertha...yeah it may have felt good, but if your friends found out, they would always give you crap about it. Sorry, just kidding you...it already sounds like you're on your way. I'll be in Moab next week, hope to run into you.

    sorry ,most of my friends drive jeeps or at least they started
    as jeeps..what trails are you running?

    Any paticular reason your going with 33"s instead of 35"s with that 6" lift? Especially with 4.56s.

    i would like 35's but 33' were on the trading table,and i spent
    most of my cash on the arb,gears and lockrite.and whats left
    of the money i thought mabe disconnects?...........?/????

    If it still has autohubs get some manual ones. New front shackels and a steering box brace from ORD would be my next step.

    i got manual hubs when i did gears ,but why new front shackles?

    With the lift springs in the front the spring eye hits the frame at full flex. Plus the ORD ones are stronger and can be bought greaseable.
