I was wondering if anyone knows the weight of a car trailer. See i am haveing my cousin build me one but I have to pay for it. The price is about $0.05 a pound.
All I have to really get are the axles, the hitch, and the lights. So if anyone knows the weight of one of these, please let me know. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

There's too many variables to make a half-assed guess....

What kind of material is he using? What gauge of material is he using? Is it a dual axle or single axle trailer? Will it have permanent or removable ramps? Is the bed made out of wood or steel?

FWIW, most flatbed trailers big enough to haul a car will weigh somewhere between 2000 and 3000 lbs....

2500 lbs x $0.05 = $125????? Seems awful cheap to me. I can honestly say that $125 wouldn't even come close to covering the cost of materials. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
