Who is trailering? My rig is not street legal (although I could fake it with tail lights added) so I will need to trailer to the trail heds. Is this a problem? In particular, I will be very disappointed if I can't run U/L Helldorado and the other legendary trails that I want to run...

Rig some lights. No one in Moab will screw with you.
Just don't drive it very far out of Moab!
Of course you want to be safe (not brake lights etc. wouldn't be smart anyway).
I hate to see you miss out on being in that giant caravan.

    Russ....

Many of these trails are "loops", meaning you don't come out where you gone in!... Why don't you rig up a towbar for the front of yours and I'll tow you to and from the trail. That way you can leave your Dodge and trailer at a home base and won't be worried about lettin' it sit on the side of the road. Need to mate to a 2" ball and keep the towbar as low as possible cuz your rigs taller than mine... /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Sounds like a plan, thanks! Now I just need to rustle up a 2" ball coupler...

Since we are Probably Caravanning to the trails and most are within 10 miles of moab you won't be bothered. Put it this way, Highway Patrolman sees 25 to 35 K5's in a row most of them technically not legal he isn't going to break us up and pull one over especially not in moab. I have seen many buggies right out on the streets in moab some with offroad permits, some don't even have that.
