This is a dumb question, but I don't have too much mechanical experience. I took my rear drive shaft off to change a
u-joint and some atf fluid leaked out of the tranfer case. It was a half a quart to a quart. Now I don't know how to fill it
back up. Where is the fill hole on my tranfer case. I didn't see anything recognizable. Maybe I can't see it for all the old crud
caked up on it. Thanks for the help.

Look at the back of the t-case. The are two plugs. One at the bottom and one on the top.

The one on the top is the fill plug. The size is 1 3/16". You can use and adjustable wrench if you don't have that socket. (most dont /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif)

If it were me, I'd drain the rest of the fluid out and change it. Prolly hasnt been done in forever. It take 5 quarts of ATF (dexron III)

    Its pretty easy.
