I Have A 205 TCase That Gets Stuck In 4LOW And 4HI . The Transmission Is A 465. If I Rock The Truck Back And Forth A Couple Of Times It Sometimes Releases And Then Shifts In And Out Of 4WD Very Easy. But Normaly Requires Alot Of Effort To Get Out Of 4WD .. Any Ideas ?

my buddy has the same problem with his 205. he has a 81 k5. I did some reading and found that the 205 is actually prone to gears warping and making it reall hard to get in and out of 4wheel drive. also the 205 he has is not geared as low as the other t cases that come stock, at least his isnt.

Make sure your linkage is adjusted right. Other than that, the shift rail might be worn out inside the case, That's all I can think of at the moment....
