Just replaced my tranny and would like to install an external tranny cooler. i can't seem to tell which line is the "HOT" one, and dont want to run it to watch which way the fluid flows(messy). Any ideas which line is the hot and cold going to the radiator? i have a 6.2 diesel, and a th400. Thanks erik

The hot line on my 700R4 is the top one. My guess is that its the same for yours. It really doesn't matter too much which way you hook it up. The thermostat warms it up better one way in the winter, I dont remember which, but it should be OK either way.
