I am removing the a/c crap on my rig an di noticed how small my tranny cooler is... I have one off the big block I'm selling and it's HUGE compared to the one I have... Can I use this larger cooler (from a TH400) on the one I have... just remove the old one and stick this one in it's place??? If I do this when I put the new one on edo I need to fill it with tranny fluid first??? Then put it on to avoid air in the lines??? Will this cooler (I dont know why it wouldnt) work ??? it's the same thing just bigger, and well.... bigger.... I know you dont want your tranny too cool, but I'd rather be cooler than too hot, which it can get when your wheelin...
Should this one interchange with the old smaller one???

The larger one should just swap in. Don't worry about air either. Just hook it up, turn it on, go through the gears, check the fluid level, & your done. You also shoulden't have to worry about it being to cold because it passes through the radiator first.
