Ok just put in a new tranny with a 2200 rpm stall... Now I need a cooler for it.

Anyone have really good cooling/luck with a specific brand or kind?

    Thanks

if you do a search you'll see a lot of info on this, but i'm pretty sure most on here use the largest stack plate design that they can find. personally i run with a B&M rated at 24k lbs.

I was going to post a question on this but found this post and decided to try it here.

What about useing the AC condensor? I'm thinking about useing my present tranny cooler for my PS. Since I'm converting my AC pump for on board air, why not make use of the condensor???

Since it's so big, I would run the line to it first then to the radiator to make sure it comes up to temp. I will also flush it well to get rid of the old refridgerent oil.

Anyone see any problems with my cheapy tranny cooler idea? Anyone tried it before?

I would like to know this as well since I removed the AC during my current engine build, be nice to use that big condenser. Perhaps maybe the pump couldnt push that much fluid through it.
