tranny cross bar fell AGAIN

    This is the 2nd time this has happened to me. I'm going to get some sort of lock-tight or something to make sire the nuts dont fall off again. I was wondering why it was driving funny. lol [​IMG]

    ...get yourself some of those Nyloc nuts. They are cheap and work great.

    nylock nuts, lock washers, loc-tight.

    that shouldn't be happening. those bolts look damn long...

    There has to be something else wrong, nuts just don't fall off, even if they were working themselves lose you would notice.It would take weeks for them to move down that long of a bolt.... /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

    it was lowered an inch so the nut was only threaded on it about 3/4 to and inch, i might have been able to notice that, but odly enough i didn't

    Well that sure sucks! Did it do any damage? I can almost see that hurting the frame on the other side.

    I would check the engine crossmember for cracks. I had something similar happen, and it cracked the engine crossmember on the passenger side near the motor mount.

    throw on a 500fp impact gun with red loc-tight and those babys wont come off.
