I read the specs sheets and understand that my 84 k5 either comes with a
th350 or a 700r4. I bought it used and am not sure which one it is. My
question is how do I know which one it is? Any info would help a lot. Thank
    you.

    If it's a three speed it a TH350, if it has Overdrive, then it's a 700R4.

Check the Trans pan. The 700 is a rectangular pan, the TH 350 has an angled trans pan on one corner.
And the 700 does not have a modulator.

It's better to have it than to need it, than to need it and not have it !!!!
