There has been a small tranny leak on my K-5 and now it is pretty much a constant pour. I probably use 1-1/2 quarts every other day. It seems that the leak is coming from a seal where the tranny meets the t-case meet. has anyone had this problem before? What is involved in fixing it? /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif

check the bolts where the two meet,on mine when I was swapping the trannys I found the out of 4 bolts 2 were missing and 2 were finger tight. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gifI was using at least twice that amount before I toasted the tranny because of water entering it.

if it is the seal, you gotta drop the transfer case and put a new seal on it.
