Ok i am having trouble with my tranny. It seems to clunk around lot when shifting at lower gears, and sometimes when im coming to a stop. Does it just need to be rebuilt?
Oh i also have a front end clunking sound, and cant figure out fromwhere. Everything seems tobe tight. Any ideas?

Check your u-joints, and also the Tranny mount. Just some places to begin.

    Keep it simple!

Like RJ said above, get underneath the truck and take a good look around.........I had a similar clunky downshift last year and it ended up being a loose tranny support. A bad u-joint will do the same thing. In regards to your front end knocking, check your front ball joints(upper and lower) as well as your shocks- they can give a funny clunk if the bushings are worn......
